Clean Eyre Cuts Site Visits with KeySIM, RUT200 and Secure VPN for Industrial IoT

Industrial IoT specialist Clean Eyre Monitoring Systems has selected KeySIM to provide multi-network connectivity and secure remote access for its IIoT monitoring systems following a successful trial.

The company is reducing site visits for remote diagnostics by deploying KeySIM IoT SIM cards in Teltonika RUT200 industrial routers. The combination provides an independent mobile internet connection, fixed IP addressing and secure VPN access for equipment in the field.

Secure Remote Access Without the Corporate Network

For many industrial sites, connecting third-party monitoring equipment to a customer's corporate network is blocked by IT security policies.

Using a RUT200 with a KeySIM IoT SIM provides an alternative. The router creates an independent mobile internet connection, while KeySIM supplies a fixed IP address and secure access via its KeySecure VPN.

Combined with port-forwarding rules configured on the RUT200, authorised engineers can securely connect remotely to specific devices and services behind the router.
